At a glance
- Starter is $0 and is not a trial. New website organizations start on Starter with no card.
- Monthly and annual charges Paddle collects — full refund of that charge if you ask within 14 days. Using the service does not reduce the refund.
- Shopify — switching to Starter cancels the paid charge immediately; unused days are not refunded or credited. Paid plan swaps may be prorated by Shopify. iOS follows Apple. Enterprise is agreed in writing.
Overview
This Refund Policy applies to paid subscriptions purchased through the Waktaa tenant dashboard by Toward Technology Private Limited. Prices on this marketing site are indicative; binding fees, plan limits, and payment instructions are shown in Billing before you pay. Website cards go through Paddle, which is the merchant of record on that rail. The Shopify App Store and the iOS app collect payment through those stores. Toward Technology Private Limited operates the Waktaa service and is not the merchant of record on those checkouts.
By subscribing, you also agree to the billing sections of our Terms of Use. Charges Paddle collects follow the 14-day refund below and Paddle's Refund Policy.
Starter
When you register a new user account and create an organization from this website, that organization starts on Starter ($0). Starter is a free plan and is not a trial. Shopify App Store installs follow the plan you pick in Shopify; Starter there is the same free plan.
No charge is collected for Starter. Assist and Team are paid plans you start from Billing. Website cards check out through Paddle. Shopify App Store and iOS subscriptions start in those stores.
Monthly subscriptions
Monthly plans renew automatically each billing period through the payment method shown in Billing unless you cancel before renewal.
For a charge Paddle collects, email hello@waktaa.com within 14 days of the charge date with your organization name and transaction reference, or request the refund at paddle.net. That charge is refunded in full to the original payment method. You do not need to give a reason. Partial use of the billing period, including AI replies already sent, does not reduce the refund. Paddle pays the refund within 14 days of the request. When the refund is issued, access to the paid plan for that charge ends.
You can cancel renewal anytime in Billing. Cancellation stops later charges. A charge Paddle collects that is still inside the 14-day window can be refunded in full under the paragraph above.
Shopify App Store
Subscriptions started in the Shopify App Store are charged by Shopify under that store's billing. If you switch from a paid plan (Assist or Team) to Starter, the change takes effect immediately: the paid Shopify charge is cancelled, paid-plan access ends, and unused days in the current billing period are not refunded or credited. Later renewals of that paid charge stop.
If you switch between paid plans (for example Assist and Team, or monthly and yearly), Shopify shows the new charge for approval and may prorate the unused portion of the prior paid period per Shopify's billing rules. Store-level refunds or charge adjustments follow Shopify's processes; contact hello@waktaa.com if you need help with a Shopify charge.
Annual or custom contracts
Annual charges Paddle collects follow the same 14-day full refund as monthly charges Paddle collects. Enterprise is not sold through Paddle. Refund and cancellation terms for an Enterprise contract follow the signed order form or statement of work.
